Can Marvelon Be Taken When Periods Are Delayed?

I got my last period on March 5th. I am on marvelon but due to unavailability of the pill in the market, I couldn't start my course on time (second day of my periods). I haven't got my periods yet this month. I've had a pregnancy test done and its negative. What do I do? Should I wait till I get my periods and then start taking the pill or do I just go ahead and start taking the pill anyway. (I've always had irregular periods)
