Can Melmet 500 Cause Throat Infection And Swallowing Difficulty?

I am using melmet 500 for my product. But I am getting throat infection, dryness in the throat and difficult swallow. Please help whether it is a side effect of melmet. Because I stopped using when I faced throat infection problem. When I recovered from that again I started using melmet but now I am facing again throat problem. Please clarify the same. Thank you.
