Can Microgynon Or Ferrous Fumarate Tablets Cause Irregular Menstruation?

hi, i started taking microgynon Ed and ferrous fumarate for approximately 2 months now. I missed atleast 2weeks n then i resumed taking the pills. I saw my period twice...early in january and then at the end of january. the thing is my period was to come at the end of january but i guess the cycle change. the period i saw at the end of january was very light though.the thing is my period has started again yesterday ...could this be asa result of the pill
