Can Mirena Effect Billirubin Levels?

Hi. I am a 22 year old female. I weigh around 115-120. I've always been a fairly healthy person. I wanted to avoid having to remember the "pill" so I opted for the IUD Mirena. I got it back in March, and for the past two months I've noticed the whites of my eyes are very yellow. I had bloodwork done and my dr said my billirubin level was 3.5 and that I needed to have the Mirena removed asap. I have an appointment to do so this monday. But i was just wondering how the Mirena affects your billirubin levels. And should they go back down once it is removed??
