Can Movicol Cause Vomiting?

My 16 month son has hirshsprungs and had a successful pull through last year. He was impacted last week and has been taking movicol for 2 days but is vomiting after food and milk. We stopped the movicol but he is still vomiting and has runny stools. Is the vomiting a side effect of the movicol? Should we contact his consultant?
