Can Neosporin Be Used For Torn Frenulum?

I tore my frenulum having sex with my wife. She was dry and told me to stop but me being a man I didn't want to so I ripped my frenulum in half. It was bleeding allot for about 20 minutes. I cleaned it up and applied neosporin. Will the neosporin help it heal? Is there anything else I can purchase to help it heal? How long will it take to heal?
