Can Norethisterone Cause A False Positive Pregnancy Test?

I was on norethisterone pills for 4 days (just to delay my period as I have a water sport event coming up) I’ve stopped the course for 7 days now and I haven’t got my period. I took a pregnancy test and it says positive. But I do not have any pregnancy symptoms. My boyfriend and I counted back the days and he did not ejaculate in me during my ovulation period. Will the pills affect the reading? Could it be a fake positive? Should I take a second test after another week to confirm?
