Can Oxycodone Be Taken For Pain Relief Before Dressing?

Hi, Hopefully a really simple one, Pt has been on 10mg Oxycodone BD for the past three years due to severe pain not responding to non-narcotics, she has bilateral venous ulcers on each lower leg. Due to pain levels, and the need for mechanical debridement, would it be safe to take 15mg prior to dressing changes?
