Can Percent 5/500 Be Taken Instead Of Hydromorphone For Pain Relief?

i am taking hydromorphone 8mg for the last year every three hours and still in pain. My question is when i ran out i had some percent 5/500 and i took three and it help more that the hydromorphone. now my real question is?? i took an 8mg at 5:30pm cst and i now want to try the percents. i am looking for relief. do you think it would be any problems?
