Can Phentermine Be Taken Along With Generic Cymbalta?

Hi, I am currently taking 30mg of the generic cymbalta and started taking phentermine today to lose 20 pounds. I have no health issues but am wondering if I should stop taking the cymbalta. I didn t take it today because the nurse practictioner said the phentermine has SSRI s as the antidepressants. Can I stop taking the cymbalta? I am a 53 year old white female.
