Can Polio Vaccination Be Given Twice Within A Year?

hi, i have a question regarding the vaccination. My son has received all the vaccination in Slovakia although we live in UK for 8 years already. Last year 2014 he has been vaccinated against polio. Now he has received the letter from school that he will receive the vaccination in school. Can he get the same vaccination twice?
