Can Tranexamic Acid Ease Heavy Bleeding Due To Abortion?

7 days ago I had an abortion due to certain circumstances... I have been bleeding quite heavily and it doesn't seem to be easing off as it should??.. I have suffered with heavy periods for a number of years now and have been taking tranexamic acid. Could I take some tranexamic acid to ease the bleeding of my recent abortion as I'm struggling with the bleeding?? Please help as I don't want to visit hospital/doctors as I have no other side affects or problems . Thanks in advance
