Can UTI Cause Itchiness In Anus?

hello, i have recently been diagnosed with a uti after losing my virginity to my boyfriend, i have been subscribed with anti-biotic tablets to help reduce my pain whilst urinating, but i didn t mention to my nurse that the inside of my anus has now started to feel quite ticklish and itchy, what could this be? and how can i get rid of it? i have a feeling it could be something to do with my current urinary tract infection, but i just want the itch in my anus to go away!
