Can A Anterior Placenta Hinder 3D Ultrasound View?

I have an anterior placenta and have heard after 20 weeks pregnant it is difficult to get a good views for a 3d ultrasound as the placenta is in the way. Is this correct? My 3D is scheduled for 30 weeks. I just had my 16 week gender ultrasound and the tech showed me the placenta.
