Can A Diabetic And Hypertensive Person Take Motrin For Pain Relief?

hi, my mother in law is 73 years old. She is diabetic(140mg/dl), had high cholesterol( now 143 mg/dl), blood pressure( not high now), has arthritis too. Is it a good idea for her to take Motrin as a daily drug for pain relief. And also can she stop taking the drug ( Olmesartan Medoxomil, and Resuvastatin ) for high cholesterol; since her cholesterol is under control now.
