Can A Minor Reaction To Fish Get Worse Overtime? I

Can a minor reaction to fish get worse overtime? I work on a fish counter most days and over the first month I developed itchy arms and hands everytime I touched fish, then it went to itchy dots. I've been on there about a year now maybe more and Sometimes little tiny blisters appear for hours and hours being very sore. Will this just get worse?
