Can a nursing home dr insist u either put in s feeding tube or do hospice on 83 yr old for not eating a lot no health problems rxcept dementia diognosed 7 mo ago she is not terminal just doesn't want much to eat she has lost 6 lbs in 11/2 mo and they said her liver is not bad but it is not absorbing protein I just think they may be jumping the gun a bit what do u think it's perplexing to me
