Can A Sores In Mouth Be Swollen Lymph Node?

My daughter has been running a fever since last Wednesday...she developed soars in her mouth yesterday. Tonight my husband noticed a lump above her right breast. Is it possibly a swollen lymph node, or should I be concerned and go to the doctor? Up until now I was thinking she was going through Hand, Foot, and Mouth Disease...
