Can Allopathic And Ayurvedic Medicines Be Taken Together For Treatment Of Allergy?

My daughter is suffering with cold aregy sinc 2007. She facing problems of brething during changes of seasons and doctor has advice to take one tablets of Wysolone for a week and Montral kid for long time. We are also giving some Ayurvedic treatment for their improvment in immune system. Please advice for any side effect and can we give both Ayurvedic and Alopathik medicine at a time.
