Can Astroglide Cure Eczema?

I have eczema on my elbows, and one night it was itching and I was out of lotion, so in desperation I put some Astroglide on it. The next morning it was completely cleared up! Now whenever I start to break out I put a little Astroglide on and it takes care of it. I was wondering if that was complete coincidence or if there was a chemical/medical reason for it.
