Can Beet Juice Be Consumed To Improve Athletic Performance?

I'm a cardiac patient having stent for block in coronary arteries. Having blood pressure lowering medicine like, beta blocker (Carvidolol 6.25mg), ARB (Olmesartan 20mg) & Calcium Channel Blocker (Amlodipine 5mg)
Also taking Nitroglycerine tablets 2.6, Rosuvastatin 5mg, Clopidogrel+aspirin 75mg each. I want to improve my athletic performance by taking Beet Juices. What is your opinion?
