Can being overweight and smoking weed and cigarettes cause pulmonary embolisms? I am 27 years old and was diagnosed with bilateral pulmonary embolisms I didn't have any blood clots in my legs I don't take birth control but I had been smoking in the months prior to finding out that I had PEs at times heavily.
