Can Birth Control Pills Be Stopped In Between The Course?

i'm currently using microgynon 30 as a contraceptive, however i'd finished the first 21 pill strip and went straight on to the next strip without the 7 day break. I'm currently on the second strip into the first week, am i able to stop at any time and have a break or shall i fnish this strip then have a break despite already missing my previous break?
