Can Brown Vaginal Discharge Be Due To Implanon Implant?

I have the inplanon (anti- pregnancy bar) And I have brown discharge, could this be a result of the inplanon? When I got the bar put in, the doctor asked if I had my period, what I thought was my period, was just the brown discharge. Before I had the inplanon put in, I think I had unprotected sex( I was raped and drugged)
