Can Chewing Mentors Help A Patient With Sore Throat? Or

Can chewing mentors help a patient with sore throat? Or is it harmful. I've been severe cough due to allergy & I've been taking lozenges & medicines for a long time.

Yesterday I had an entire packet of mentors consisting of 15 lozenges & I had vomiting 2 times after dinner. If I'm to take lozenges, at what time intervals should I take one? And how much is allowed in a day?
