Can Chipped Bone In Shoulder Cause Radiating Pain In Elbow And Arm?

I Have a chipped bone in my shoulder and I have pain that radiates down to my elbow making it difficult to straightening my arm. I only just had ultrasound and have not seen my doctor yet but the sonographer asked me if I have had an accident as there appeared to be a divet in my shoulder. Can the pain in my elbow be related?
