Can Cilest Cause Flaking Skin?

Im 17 and have been taking cilest for almost a month now and i have noticed that i have dry patches of flaking skin on my arms. It does bother me because they're very obvious. Im 8 1/2 stone and 5ft 5. I have recently just had exams so i've been very stressed. Is this just a side effect of the pill or could it be something else?
