Can Cleft Pallet Cause Shuttering Of Speech?

I`m a Sri lankan Mother.My Daughter is 24 years, born with a cleft pallet, and diagnose as partly Autistic. She has been given speech therapy and she could communicate with others not properly but fairly. She started stuttering at her age of 22 and now she stops speaking when she stutters. Please let me know what to do?
