Can Coming Off The Pills Cause Brown Discharge?

hello ,I got my period 2 weeks ago and i now have a brown discharge which is sometime red but more less brown for the past two days.it is not heavy but i can see it every time i wipe.

i was on the pill but stopped a week ago. could this contibute to this brown discharge i am having.
