Can Constant Use Of Glass For Short Sight Cause Prominent Eyes?

Hi doctor, I'm a short-sightened man so I always wear glasses for almost all time. But lately, my eye which doesn't have a record of prominent seems to become slightly prominent eyes. My dad says maybe I focus on computer screen and smartphone screen for too long. Is this true? Is there any solutions?
