Can Contraceptive Pills Cause Mood Swings And Abdominal Pain?

im 18 year old girl whose periods have never been great and my body holds water,and i'm on the pill injection but started to get very bad mood swings and abdo pains which last nearly 3 weeks at a time was wondering if its the injection and what contraception would u rcemend?
