Can Cyst In Ovary Lead To Cancer?

i m 22 years old female suffer from ovarian cyst due to tuberculosis.i get complete treatment of tuberculosis and now i have recovered it but cyst is still in my right ovary. mostly i have no pain and feel normal but i have irregular menstrual cycle with little pain in my right ovary and my doctor said its not curable now i m so tens . i want to know is it make problem to me like cansor or is it harmless?
