Can Diet And Exercise Cure Atrial Flutter?

I am taking 50 mg of Metoprolol a day due to Atrial Flutter. Also the doctor wants to do a Cardiac Ablation in two weeks. I am extremely healthy, 64 yrs. old and have perfect blood pressure. Can I try to fix this situation with diet and exercise instead?
