Can Dothiepin Be Replaced By Duloxetine For Anxiety Attacks?

My partner is on dothiepin (old agent) which is indicated for depression, however all his symptoms show GAD to be his ailment, he is in a good mood, he just experiences anxiety specific to his job, ie. he will wake at night in a cold sweat thinking about work, he has a restless sleep......is duloxetine more appropriate (a more recent compound that has shown efficacy in GAD)???
