Can Earring Inside The Ear Cause Dizziness And Blocked Ear?

Hi, as an 11 year old child i for some reason put an earring into my ear. I now have no recollection of removing it and fear that is has furthered into my ear. I am now 19 and i have trouble with feeling dizzy and unbalanced. I have had my ear flushed and my doctor doesnt think that it could have gone further. Also this ear becomes blocked frequently when i get out of breathe. is it possible it could have entered my inner ear?
