Can Eating Grapefruit Cause Brown, Old Blood Discharge Post Menopause?

I eat grape fruit for a week and I started having brown old blood discharge. I m 60 in good shape had no sides of menopause that are common. I was very happy to ended periods and never got hot flashes, depression, weight gain etc etc. I stop eating grape fruit and all become normal again. What s the connection ?
