Can Endometrial Polyps Cause Lower Abdominal Pain?

Can endometrial polyps cause pain? Other than pain during or after intercourse? I've just noticed that lately I have had some lower abdominal pain, which is particularly noticeable when I lie down at night or if I need to urinate at all (not just talking about a full bladder). I have had an ultrasound and it was noted that I do have a particularly large polyp so I'm just wondering if the two could be related.
