Can Erratic Eating Habits Cause Dizziness?

I fainted earlier from not eating and it was 1:30 in the afternoon. I hit my head on floor but no headache at all. Felt tenderness later when I washed my hair. Slightly queasy but then experienced some dizziness while lying in bed trying to go to sleep. Otherwise I feel alright. The dizziness concerned me. Happened twice but Was very brief. Should I be concerned or not?
