Can Extended Duration Of Period Be A Result Of Using Nuvaring?

I just recently started nuvaring and last month I took Plan B which resulted in me having my period 2 times. This month my period has been lasting for 8 days (normally its 4-5) additionally the last few days have been SOOOO lite and the blood has been DARK DARK almost black or brown. Is there something wrong?
