Can Fibroid And Ovarian Cyst Affect My Pregnancy?

I’m 42 years old, 43 in a few days. I have had a regular cycle of 28 days and have 3 children from a previous marriage. I married again for the 2nd time 3 years ago and we have been trying to conceive, my 2nd husband has never fathered children and is 9 yrs older than I am.

I have a fibroid and an ovarian cyst which was diagnosed 18 months ago but no treatment undertaken.

My last period was 22nd August 2010 so I was expecting to come on by the 18th September 2010. However, I am now on day 35 without a period, just some brown mucus and watery brown discharge which lasted for 3 days. I have not had cramps or PMS. This discharge wasn’t offensive.

I have taken 2 pregnancy tests which both came out as negative, one on Monday 20th September 2010 and another this morning day 35 (25th Sept 2010) at 8am.

I have had very sore nipples, weepy, feeling sick, being hungry then not being hungry.

Any thoughts?
