Can Growing Environment Determine A Child S Sexuality?

Hi, me and my partner are have a little discussion and I would like to show him what he s saying is not true. The question is if you raise a child a certain way would it influence/determine it s sexuality? He s saying for example a boy tends to hang out with girls more,he would turn out homosexual.
