Can Headaches And Vertigo Be A Result Of Pseudotumor Cerebri?

Hello. I am 32 years old, and was diagnosed last year with Pseudotumor Cerebri. My exacerbating factors do include obesity. I have been taking Diamox since my diagnosis, and am currently taking 1000mg BID. Prior to my last dosage increase, my neurologist and I had been discussing placement of an LP shunt. I would prefer to use treatments that are minimally-invasive at this point, but realize that surgical intervention may be necessary. I continue to have headaches, vertigo, etc. My visual field tests continue to be unremarkable. I have just moved from Florida to Texas, and am seeking a new neurologist and neuro-opthalmologist. My question now, however, concerns air travel. Will flying exacerbate my symptoms, and is there a contraindication with this disorder, or should it be safe?
