Can Hearing Disability In Ear Of A Child Be Treated?

My nephew is 5  year old and has been diagnosed with left ear hearing disability (100% no response). He is a resident of Delhi (India) and was diagnosed by an AIMMS Delhi (India) doctor. The doctors advised that his left ear nerves have dried out completely and there in no response from left ear on performing tests. They have given up on the case in terms of any recovery/treatment. Please advice if there is any hope for my little nephew to have a normal life like any other kid as he is only 5 year old and has a whole life to go. I can mail his reports and prescription. Your advice would be of big help to me and my family. We are hopeful with homeopathy and ayurveda
