Can Hemolytic Anemia, ITP Or Petechiae In A Relative Affect Infant?

my 22 year old son had hemolytic anemia when he was eight steroids for a year then helped. at 16 he was diagnosed with itp platelet count of 1 in hospital for weeks. ivgs and steroids.... platelet count finally 300 for a couple years, then at 20 nose bleeds petechia and back in hospital 1 platelet count-they did everything from steroids ivg plate rituxin etc still would raise he had his spleen removed. he s been good with his platelets...my question is when they removed his spleen, did that remove all his immunizations? his sister, my daughter is about to give birth and is concerned that he could pas something on to her baby? he did have the pneumonia vaccination. He does live in LA and was in Disneyland during measles outbreak...thanks! Debi
