Can Heterogenous Uterus And Ovarian Cystic Changes Cause Lower Stomach Pain?

ON ct scan my urologist saw heterogenous uterus and ovarian cystic changes. I am 53 still getting heavy periods. Just wondering if this could be the cause of my lower stomach pain. Trouble is I'm also burping alot so it could be gerd also. But my gastro says this would not cause the lower pain. I feel horrible today and this is after having some very sharp knife like pain lower right side . Could a cyst have ruptured. Thank you+
