Can Hysterectomy Be Performed During Herpes Outbreak?

In a few weeks I am scheduled to have a LAVH with BSO (laparoscopic-assisted vaginal hysterectomy with bilateral salpingo-oophorectomy because I have a fibroid tumor which is 3 times the size of my uterus. I have occasional outbreaks of herpes when under stress. Can I still go through with the surgery if I have a herpes outbreak at that time?
