Can Intake Of Birth Control Pills Cause Missed Periods?

I m on birth control pill called cryselle I use to start taken them on a Thursday and I switched up and started to take them on Friday and now I don t know when I will get my period,I m on the week my period comes but I have to take my pill on Friday and it s Monday and no period yet just cramps to ok two pregnancy test came back negative really stressed out
