Can Intake Of Pineapple Cause Abortion?

hi i m 31 year married(1.4 yrs of marriage) women. This time I missed my periods by 8 days, and had symptoms of pregnancy(we used condom while having sex) but i m not sure bcoz i haven t gone through any pregnancy test as my husband don t want baby at this stage at any cost and I m unable to convince him. so just read somewhere home abortion options by eating pineapple. And last night I tried it and today in the morning I started bleeding. but I want to know that was I pregnant or its just a normal periods.
