Can Lack Of Sleep Cause Swelling And Dark Line Under Eyes?

I am 19 years old girl and i have a question regarding under eye problem.my problem is that i don't have dark circles as such but 3 months ago i noticed a dark line under both my eyes going across my cheeks i though it would disappear soon but it is still the same i even see little bit of swelling not much though,how do i get rid of it? it looks more awkward when i smile.As i am a student i study till late night,is it because of lack of proper sleep?
