Can Laproscopy Reverse Irregular Menses?

hi doctor, i had an ectopic pregnancy and i was rush to the OR for surgery to remove the fetus and i lost my right tube. before getting pregnant i had irregular menses and i could not have my period for like six months or more. But after the laparoscopy and removal of my tube and fetus, i have a period every month. i want to know if that procedure can reverse irregular menses.
